so after what i would guess was either a crazy phyto blume, or my cheato sexed and turned the water completely green, i started to break down my 55.

the fish(only damsels left, in there anyways) were moved to two different tanks, my black and gold chromis, and the 3 spot damsel went in the reef, both are pretty passive. the two 4 stripe and two blues went to my neighbor since he only has a yellow tailed blue, and a clown currently in his 180g, he just started.

so after a phone call to perfecto/marine land this afternoon, confirming i can buy just the rims from one of their 200g dd's. i am going to give tank building a go. pretty much it's gonna be a 180g version of a 200g dd. 48*36*24(180g) vs the perfecto/marineland 48*36*27(200g). starfire on all four sides, was originally going to do 3 sides, both the longs and a short, with the last short as a wall side, but i figure why not do all 4 sides so when i buy a house and have it in my man cave area it will be viewable from all sides. and instead of doing two corner overflows i plan on one center 8" or something like that, maybe a pair of 5-6" not sure quite yet. using my current 75g for sump when the time comes.

so i'm hoping i can have joe at swp order the rim thingys(have to be purchased through a shop, cant be bought directly from them), and still need to price around on glass, but that is the next tank project. it will not be the biggest tank i have built, but it will be the first glass aquarium application, vs welding plastic tanks for metal plating lines. largest tank i ever built was 10'*5'*5', 1,870g. those were like swim spas, 1" polypro, with a pair of 2" square stock belts to hold it in shape.

so anyways, dont need this stuff and would be a great starter package minus lighting, for someone new or ya know another tank for ay one lol.

55g tank, definitely scratched up, home made way over built stand and canopy, canopy is solid oak, but needs to be sanded and finished. stand is double 2*4 framed, space for a sump on the left, and shelf on the right side, skinned with cabinet grade oak veneer plywood.

a coralife super skimmer rated for 65g, hang on back or drop it in a sump.

ehopps overflow, no idea on the flow rating, looks to be 1" i.d. tube for the actual over flow.

a rio model 2500 pump, rated for 748gph.

and either a fresh 10g tank you can build into a sump(and i have a few sheets of glass laying around you could have as well to build with), or my neighbor who has my chromis's has an old 10g sump i will include as well, which ever way you want.

i never actually ran it with a full on sump set up, had a hang on back skimmer/fuge combo thing running, until i upgraded the skimmer on the 75g system.

so pretty much that's all of it, i think. would like to get $250 out of everything. pics coming in a bit, just topped cleaning since my back hurts, back to it.

also can deliver up to buffalo, though the hard part in that would be getting out of buffalo with out stopping at swp....
