Over feeding vs. Under feeding

Hey all,
I was trying to get a grasp on feeding. I have 7 small fish and I have the Rod's food and I mix it with mysis. With it being frozen, and the mysis comes in a cube, by the time I mix it together I have ALOT. I am trying to get a perfect balance. As of now I mix about a 1" square of Rod's and the Mysis cube I am sure most of you know the size of them.
I put about half in the morning and about half in the evening. Can I break that down into a few more halves in order to not over feed? If so will it keep o.k in the fridge? I was thinking a third of what I'm feeding now once a day. I don't know, Any suggestions you all have I will follow.

I use about the size of a fingernail of rods food. there's mysis in it I believe. I have 7 or 8 fish I think plus a bunch of shrimp and a million corals.

So, no Mysis, & once a day? Do you find any issues with Algae or nitrate build-up?

His issues are entirely mental... his tank on the other hand looks pretty good.

I skim very heavily and run carbon and phosban to get the extra stuff. I also do 5 gallon wc weekly. but I DO notice when I'm overfeeding, ie algae on glass, less than happy corals.

like I said, for my tank, I found that a fingernail size works best.
