over heated tank and color loss

About 2 weeks ago, my heater went nuts, and heated my tank to about 90 degrees. Of the 7 clams in that tank, 2 crocea clams ahve survived. However, there has been a loss of mantle color on the larger clam and a shift in the color that has remained. Now for the all importnat question, the bare areas that exist now, will they fill in at all?

I think the bare spots will go away, and come back with color. I am going to guess they bleached out of stress, but should get their color back not only once everything has stabilized again but after a good deal of time goes by (More than two weeks).
