Someone on RC was just talking about this happening to him. He said a plumber turned him in when his wife mentioned his "lab". Got his door knocked down and everything.

reefer wannabe that guy i think you talking about had his house raided not once but twice... second time if i remember correctly they landed a dea helicopter in a field behind his house.... and the first time i think his wife used the term "cooking rock" in a grocery store and some lady followed his wife home then called the cops

Nope--this was an odor of vinegar and a mention of a husband's "lab". This must happen more often then we think. Then there was Trottie's ordeal with his skimmer "bong" at a hardware store.

Isn't it wonderful to be innocent until proven guilty. And for thorough investigations to be presented to the judges before search warrents issued. It would seem that to issue that warrent w/o surveilence and "casing the joint" is a violation of the right to not have illegal search and seizure. We only have the rights they want us to "think" we have.
They tried to pass a law in Ballwin that if anyone "thinks" you may be doing construction in your house of any kind, they can come in at will to make sure there are no building code violations. The example they used is that if you were doing work on your gas furnace or near it, it could blow up and destroy the neighbors next door. Not sure I've ever heard of any furnaces blowing up for that reason. "We're here to search your house, we saw you walk in w/a 2X4". :lol:

If that were true we wouldn't have to pay bail before getting out of jail. Guilty until proven innocent.

Ahh my friend Bail is a guarantee that you won't skip on your court date. The sum of which you will get back when you are found innocent, attend court, etc.
They should be glad he hadn't spilled a nice cup of skimmate nog... now that would be a noxious odor...
The police detective and the judge should be reprimanded at the least. I'd wager that some procedures were not followed correctly on both parts.
I thought maybe some one saw the reflection of what they saw would be the lighting over a hydroponics system and said omg it's a drug house. i better watch out then. with almost 800 watts of light over my tank and at night when you are outside you see this bright bluish purple glow out my window............
