Overdriving T5?? - causing poor sps color

I'm beginning to think that overdriving t5's is causing the lamps intended color spectrums to shift. The result is lackluster SPS coloration.

Can I see some overdriven t5 sps tanks with good color? Is that too much to ask?

Thanks

I have overdriven T5 as my primary lighting. Not too many acros (big tank, relatively new, still stocking) but no problems with color either (so far, knock on wood). In fact, colors have deepend a bit in my tank. The yellow and blue acros in particular, are much deeper these days (need to take new pics).

I'm running 4 60" bulbs (2 aquablue, 2 blue plus) overdriven on Icecap 430s for 12 hours a day, and 10k MH for only 2 hours a day. The T5s are about 15 months old now, so they're getting up there in age. I haven't noticed any real changes with age, but I do plan to replace them soon.

Im going to suggest that you are blasting the coral with high light and you possible have a low nutrient tank.

Can you try raising the lights??
