Can you overfeed one? I like to feed mine every other day. They seem to like it but just wondering. What about when you first get one should you overfeed on purpose to get their strenght up?

You are likely to get fast growth if you feed every other day. I believe that if you "overfeed," the anemone will regurgitate the food. I've read posts that say if you overfeed the food will decompose inside the anemone, but I doubt the accuracy of such a claim. As far as overfeeding on purpose, the term overfeeding implies that you're feeding an amount that cannot be utilized by the anemone, so obviously "overfeeding" isn't beneficial. However, daily feedings of easily digested food such as small pieces of fresh fish, squid, scallops or mysis is likely beneficial to severely bleached anemones that are getting no nutrition from zooxanthellae. Once an anemone is colored up, then feeding once or a few times per week is plenty. Some people never target feed their anemones, the anemone catching what it can from fish feeding and from zooxanthellae. I like to feed at least once a week myself, but I also have few fish and my anemones wouldn't get any food from fish feedings.
