Overfeeding corals?

I have a neon green candy coral frag with three branches(if thats what you call them), and a frag of these neon green polyp things with brown tenticles on the end... They will eat as much brine shrimp as i put in their mouths.. is this intense feeding causing the corals harm? my nitrates? any thoughts would be appriciated.

The downside to overfeeding anything becomes the load on the tank. A good skimmer and frequent water changes will counter balance this
