overflow box

i need some help with my overflow box does anyone know how to start the siphon with the u tube and the overflow box

Be sure both the front and rear boxes are full of water. Put a long piece of airline tubing in the U Tube to the apex of the U. Put it in the overflow and check that both ends are submerged. Suck the air out of the U Tube and remove the airline. The tube is now full of water. Start the return pump and make sure everything is working. Monitor to be sure no bubbles accumulate at the apex.
