My 75g tanks overflow box is to small. I was wondering what size over flow box should I get. Rt now it is 300gph. And it gurgles bad. Don't really want to turn the flow down. Trying to keep the red algea from getting any worse. Any input would be helpful. Thanks guys and gals!

The return is a Iwaki Magnet Pump. And the only thing I see is 2600 RPM. Can't find a GPH. Unless the RPM is the same as the GPH! Do I go duel or single u-tube?

75G tank return flow should be 225 - 375 GPH or so. The best overflow out there is a Lifereef. It can handle ~ 600 GPH. Other overflows with that rating cant actually flow that in reality.

On my 55 i have a 650gph return so you will need alot more than 225-375 for a 75. If you check out www.melevsreef.com for diy overflow box, you can make your own. Its pretty simple.

General rule is 3 - 5x display size for return flow after head loss, which is 225 - 375 GPH on a 75G tank.
