Overflow Problems in SF

Hey all, I'm not a BAR member, although I'm in the process of signing up (some minor technological issues).

Anyways, I'm having problems with my tank overflow. Basically, my 1-1/2" Durso-fed overflow can't seem to consistently handle the gph from my Iwaki WMD30RLK. I know, this doesn't make sense, which is why I posted (in the DIY forum).

Qwiv recommended that I post in the BAR forum to see if anybody nearby has had a similar problem or if someone knowledgeable is willing to take a look.

Thanks again, raddogz. I took the strainer off my Durso and voila! my tank drains fine now! I had to do some tinkering at home to figure it out.

Now if I could just fix that damn water level.....as I said in the original post, I'm going to lower the Durso level and perhaps shave down the level of the overflow this weekend.
