Overflow Problems?

That piece of foam overtime will cause problems, if not cleaned properly. Take you time and make the silencer, you won't regret it.

i decided to leave mine where it is at, lower flow from the sump, but i will just add another seio and all will be fine

How much flow would you say is going through your sump? I didn't comment about your overflow idea because I have no clue about that. lol

i would say i have about 400GPH going thru there. I wanted more flow in the tank and was going to make the other overflow box, but by the time i bought the acrylic, bulkheads, additional Utubes, it is cheaper and WAYYY easier just to add another Seio and get the same effect

400 gph through the sump sounds good already. I would leave it as is and do the powerhead as well. Sometimes its not worth it to upgrade all that for 100gph or so... imagine the cost!

i got a no namer from my LFS as well.
