Any idea how big the glass overflow on a 60 gallon square tank would be from glass cages? The overflow will be centered on the back wall of the tank. Thanks Chris
The overflows on my 270 are about 7" x 10" and from top to bottom. I don't know that they'd be able to be a whole lot smaller because the plumbing (although smaller) still needs to be in there.
Check out glass-holes.com. Wayne used one of their overflows and likes it quite a bit. They're simple and don't take up very much room, either. Plus they have all other plumbing you need! Great guys to deal with, too.
Can we have an acyrlic meeting? I am willing to offer my place as the meeting sight. I have a decent size shop with all the tools necessary to build overflows, sumps, whatever. Anybody interested?
Ok so I checked my email and glass cages overflow in a 24"x24" tank would be 10"x7". That is HUGE!!!!! I am really thinking about the glassholes overflow now. The question is do I want to drill a tank myself? Also the 700 gallon kit should do right?? Thanks Chris
