The more the better. It will help reduce shadowing and hot spots. Hang them 8-9 in above the water and set them on radiant color or the new ab+ setting at 50-60%. Turn on the acclimation mode to 50% reduction for 6 weeks. What ever you do don't play with them too much. I found my sps liked 240-280 par range. Great lights when used properly.
I'd sell one and supplement with a two bulb t5 retrofit kit if using a canopy. Sell the other and put towards other things. The center radion is gonna have to deal with the center brace too. It's to much money and electricity to waste just to eliminate "some" shadowing that a $100 t5 kit will do a better job of eliminating
