Owners of peacock mantids--on a mission here!

Ok, Dr Roy has hinted that there's a dramatic color difference between male and female O. scyllarus that can be spotted across the room to tell male from female. He won't share the answer and, as you know, curiosity killed the cat! (Or in this case, the catdoc!) I have absolutely no clue what the difference is but am hoping someone here does.

If you know whether your O.s. is male or female and think you know the color difference, can you post it here so we can all compare notes and come up with the answer? Inquiring minds want to know....

Dr. Roy states that "sexually mature" animals can be sexed across the room, etc etc, so I think we need to know what constitutes a sexually mature peacock (how big) then we can get a few good pics of both males and females and see if we can spot the difference.
Here is my new peacock. I have spent way too long looking for gonopods (have to be pretty secure to admit this) on this animal without seeing any so I believe it is a female.

I think that between these three pics we can see anything that Dr. Roy has hinted at

Edit:
Oh yeah, she is between 4 and 5 inches... probably closer to 5
