Sorry if this is not advanced but I couldn't get a response under the equiptment forum.

How do I calibrate the orp probe?
There is nothing in the instructions I found on the web.

This is the version with the LCD readout screen correct?
Get a standard solution and place the probe in the solution and I believe this model has a switch that toggles Between ORP production on the left in the middle is ORP set Point and to the right ORP reading.

Set the switch to ORP reading , place the probe in standard solution and then turn the knob at setpoint to adjust and match what the standard solution reads so that they are the same.

I've got the same unit. There is no calibration adjustment. However, you can check the probe is reading correctly by placing it in a redox calibration solution. If the reading is way off, it's time for a new probe. The probes come precalibrated from the manufacturer.

The adjustment made when the switch is set to ORP reading is to tell the unit what ORP you want the unit to stop producing ozone. i.e. if you set it for 350, the unit will produce ozone up till the point the redox comes up 350 and than shut off ozone production.

Oh wow no calibration! I am suprised. How consistent is the ORP reading with standard solution ? Does it stay that well precalibrated?
Certain aquarium controllers be used to control the orp production by the way, and they do have callibration , not that you need it unless this one were to give you erroneous readings and you did not want to keep buying probes but i am assuming the enginers have made it calibrated to last a while.

I also have a RKE that can be calibrated, so maybe I'll look into using that turn the Aquazone on and off...

I was also very surprised that there was no way to calibrate it.
I haven't hooked it up yet, I wanted to know about calibrating first.
After I hook it up I'll post what it reads with respect to the solution.
I have also heard that in some cases it takes a few days before you can get an accurate ORP reading.
