Hi all

I have been keeping reefs for about 10 years now but I have never run Ozone before. My dad has a 230 reef about 10 months old its doing great, sps lps and softies. He wants to go hi tech and the water has a yellow tinge and tons of micro organisms free swimming creating a kind of particle cloud in the tsnk, so we have decided to go with ozone in the skimmer. My question is how much100mg or 200mg, do I need to destruct the gas, and what is a good target ORP for the tank in general. Hes got an aqua C skimmer with the 1800 mag pump running it. We were looking at the red sea 200mg with the controller built in.

All paramaters are good with a H2O change every 3-4 weeks of about 30 gallons to 20 gallons.

thanks and any info or opinions would be appreicated.

Awesome, exactly what I was looking for. Looks like anything above a 50mg will helpI figured a 200mg with controller might be to much but its only like 30-40 bucks more and if its got a controller why not.

I kept trying to run a search on Ozone but the website kept saying too many users or something like that. Thanks for the link
