Ozone

I am considering adding an ozonizer to my reef. Which ones are the best? Please share your expereinces for my education. Thank you.

From what I gather, Sanders and Ozotech units are very good. I think you'd do well to choose any "corona discharge" style generator.

I think they are just as good as any. I haven't heard good or bad either way. Make sure you get a controller (some of the higher up red seas have a built in one) and step up the amount of ozone injected very slowly. If you run it into your skimmer, make sure it runs through activated carbon on BOTH the air output AND the water output of the skimmer.

Oh also, ORP probes can be finicky and often take a few days to settle at an acurate reading.
