Ozone

I want to dump my ozone in to my deltec skimmer. My concern is that this would be directly in to my pump. My Aqua C had a port where it dumped it in to the larger volume chamber. Will the concentrated ozone be bad for my pump?

Thanks

not that I know of. Most skimmers are designed to be ozone reactors but if you feel like being safe contact their customer service.

I have called & spoken with someone who was supposed to have someone else give me a call. I sent an email but got no responce to that either.

well like I said earlier if it was designed to be an ozone safe skimmer I would assume the pump would also ozone safe

Ozone

You see that is the problem I can't find anything on thier web site or in my paperwork that says either way.

Deltec skimmer

Deltec skimmer

Well deltec uses aquabee pumps. The shaft is ceramic but everything else is some type of plastic. What is not compatible with ozone?

Thanks

David

Some plastics are OK, and some not. I detail some of them here:

The second article has a table of materials that are and are not suitable:
