Ozonizers on large tanks

I'm in the process of planning a 300g tank and i was wondering how you guys feel about Ozonizers on your tanks. Also if you think there good would it be a bad thing if i put it on my 75 till my larger tank is ready.
Because of how tight my condo i get alot of CO2 and not enough oxygen in the air to keep Ph above 8.0 and i was told it would help now and even help more when i finish the bigger tank.

I could be wrong, but I think that the ozonizer will make the ph drop.
The addition of ozone, O3, to increase the redox potential will lower the ph.

I just added one to my 75g and i think that I read this somewhere.

In short, pH affects ORP but ozone does not affect pH. As pH in your tank lowers, ORP goes up. As pH raises, ORP goes down.

But O3 itself has minimal if any affect on pH.

If you want to run ozone for water clarity, fine I do. But there is no pH benifit that I know of.

Also ozone does not increase oxygen in your tank.

The only things I know of to help with elevated CO2 levels are fresh air and limewater.
