P3e internal clock loosing time

Does anybody else experience the loss of more than a minute per day on their P3e internal time clock? Is this normal? Seems excessive to me.

Mine loses 5-6 minutes in a month or so. I always thought electronic clocks would be more accurate, but oh well. Not as bad as yours though. My old Aquacontroller Jr would lose time like yours, but had a "leap second" feature that you could adjust to get closer to real time. For a net connected controller like the P3 I would expect an automatic time sync to a time server shouldn't be too difficult rather than having to click the "PC time" button all the time on the P3. Hopefully it is in the works ...

yep... cheap/bad crystal oscillator will do that.

the P3 already has NTP, just enable it in PLC under System > LAN

Domain: time.nrc.ca
Timezone: (what ever time zone you are in)
and update interval: 60min

So I've made all of the adjustments on 8/26 and checked the clock this morning +4 hours out ... I have followed Bobbox's specific directions, what else might need to be adjusted, please?

OK, Fixed ... logged on to an Australian time server :)
