Hi,

I have a Panworld 50PX return pump for my tank and i would like to know if the flow accelerators would work with this pump or if the pump is to weak to push them. I want to replace my locline flare nozzles with these if they will accelerate my flow with the panworld pump

Hi,

Yes, the 50PX is a pressure rated pump, so it should perform fine on the Accelerators.

even with non-pressure rated pumps, should they not still increase the flow? I will be using a Dart Gold as return pump on my 300 when i set it up and would like to use a few of these, would they not work? I know they work better with pressure pumps but would they still not be better than regular outputs??

Hi,

The Dart Gold could run those, but you would be reducing your plumbing down so small, that i think you would end up loosing flow on the Dart. I think if you could keep a larger return on the Dart, you'll pickup a lot more flow then going to the accelator.

K, I plan on 1 dart for main return and 2 Snappers for CL, 4 return off each Snapper. Not running OM, to many problems with cleaning the sand out of the drum. But run 1.5 pipe up to the bulkhead then 2 accelator on each pump. Would that work?

Wow, sounds like some major flow. I'm sure going into the ACCs will work, just not sure what the flow conversion would be.

Sounds like either way you go will be a nice setup though.
