Package in a Bio cube?

I have been very impressed with what I have seen and heard about TBS and am thinking of getting the package when I finally get moved and crank up my 29 Biocube. My question is this, the package directions talk about running a skimmer, which the biocube lacks. I have thought about chopping up the lid to make access, but would like to avoid that if possible. Has anyone had success with the package in a stock (non-skimmed) all in one tank like the bio cube or nano cube? Thanks.

Also, the stock lighting is 36w 10k and 36w actinic, PCs. Will this support all the life and hitchhikers (esp anemones (sp?)) in the package? Thanks

That lighting should be fine for TBS rock, I would however strongly recommend you run a good skimmer.
