pagoda cup placement?

I had it on my lowest rock but looked like it was getting lighter so I moved it to the sand but it falls over. Am I supposed to glue it down. Where is the best placement?

I glued mine to a rock large enough to act as a counter weight but not so large that I couldn't change the placement. Make sure to feed it, they like to eat. Enough flow to keep deterious from building up but not so much as to keep the polyps from fully extending. They like moderate light so if you have MH definitely don't place him directly under it. Hope that helps here is a pic of mine, he is my favorite coral.

Here's a pic of him in the old tank. This is before i glued him down. I was using a rubber band to keep him in place until I was sure i wanted him on that rock.

I have mine on the bottom under direct lighting of a 250w 14k MH I have mine proped up with rocks...PVC can work as well, I have never got a feeding response from mine but have it in mod/high flow and a pair of B&W clowns hosting in it.....Mine is 12" across and about 6'' deep almost a perfect bowl.....Here is a pic of it...

The angle is hard to tell but it goes from one side of the tank to about the middle....The tank is 24" wide.

Thanks bro.....I don't have it any more it has been at the LFS waiting for someone to buy it....One piece I will miss forever.

I have one about 6" across and lately its not doing to good. Only some of the polys around the edge seem to be opening. I have mine under T-5s and decent flow. Not sure whats going on. Any suggestions? Thanks

First; beautiful piece. my question is, did the cup naturally grow like that or did you have to train it to grow so perfectly? I recently bought a pagoda cup, it's 3", perfectly round, any tips that I may cultivate such a wonderful coral myself?
