Paint for inside of canopy?

Hi everyone,

What kind of paint (white) would be suitable for the inside of a canopy? Specific brands would be great.

Thanks,

I used Rust-o-leum (I think?) brand White appliance Epoxy.

The reason I chose it was that I've used the black version before on a DIY luggage rack & reinforcing struts for my motorcycle and (once fully cured) it is highly resistant to water, sand, salt, general road grime, some petrol products, abrasion, etc...

I use Sherwin-Williams Tile-Clad® two-part epoxy and think it is hard to beat. Designed to be moisture-proof. This is a part of S-W Marine and Industrial line, but you can find it in any S-W store.

i used kilz on both my canopy and stand..has only been 2 months, so i really cant say how well it will hold up.

I also used kitlz to seal the wood but it is not meant to be used alone. You really should follow up with a good couple coats of paint for protection. Kiltz alone will not protect 100% in the long run.

Is Kilz safe to use around fish tanks?
I thougt it had some very strong microbial properties to kill/prevent mold.

sweetwater epoxy. If you can afford it, this is supposed to be the best stuff in the industry. I just bought a gallon of clear and it applies really nice. It hasn't been tested yet, but I think it will work well.

Yes it is safe especially when painted over.
