Paint inside of the Stand...

Im pretty much finished with the base of the stand. I now want to put some sort of paint or epoxy over the whole inside of the stand.... what should I go with?

Anything that's cheap and will seal the wood.

It dosen't really matter as no one will see it. All you want to do is seal the wood from the moisture so go with whatever you have laying around or find the cheap stuff at HD or wherever you buy your paint.

I've had good luck using a floor / porch enamel.
It's available in white and it has pretty good wear resistance.

You could literally make your stand hold water like an aquarium. I've been meaning to use this in my stand. I'll be moving in a couple weeks so that will give me the opportunity to do so just before the move. I'll show pics later.

I used Kilz.

if you have a sump or anything with water inside your stand then you can seal it with any outside paint, just as long as it's sealed.

if you have nothing in your stand like me and don't plan on putting anything with water in it then you don't need anything.

Excellent! That movie was ... interesting. I have decided to go with a laminent flooring and paint with a seal around all of the edges. I thank you alot for your input!

BTW... Should I stay away from spray paint?
