Painting stand

So I built a very elaborate stand and have been trying to figure out the best way to paint it. I found a Wagner paint sprayer on Amazon for 100 buck and think that may be my best option. Does anyone have any experience with spraying? I really just want this to look like a quality piece of furniture so I want to do everything right. Also I was looking into using an acrylic paint does anyone have any thoughts? Thank you in advance!

If you've never sprayed before, getting the coverage right can be tricky (sags and runs). I would suggest practicing on a large piece of cardboard or similar to get the hang of it.

This but you can still get a very nice finish using a brush IMO and for much cheaper.

For what it might cost for the spray equipment, and your labor, see if a local painting company would do it for you.
If it's enclosed, paint the inside white, I did two coats of Kilz primer, then two coats of Rustolem gloss white. These both were oil based. Better protection than water based, plus it will cover better.
