Pairable Fish?

I'm interested in pairing (or grouping) as many fish as possible. My plans are:

Clarkii Clowns (pair)
Bangai Cardinals (pair)
Royal Grammas (harem)
Mandarins (pair)

I'll have some tang (have a yellow, powder blue) and will add a clown tang in a few months. The only tang pairs I've ever seen are Yellows?

I also have a Longnose Hawkfish - can these exist in pairs?

I also have a flame angel, coral beauty and just acquired a baby Imperator and will add a Regal at a later date - I doubt any of these fish can co-exist with the same fish of their species?

My favorite subject!

And yes you can have a harem/pair flame angels in a 450g tank!!! See mine on the left Flames are relatively easy to sex. Coral beauties aren't but I'd think as long as the fish you acquire is a juvi things would work out. That's just my opinion though. I haven't tried it.Thread with more info on pairing flames

I don't know of anyone who has 2 species of angel pairs in their tank & have wondered if the 2 males of mated pairs would have more trouble getting along than a paired male and an unpaired male.

Longnose hawkfishes can exist in pairs. most of the hawkfishes are protogynous hermaphrodites & live in harems. But longnoses are thought to live in monogamous pairs (per S.Michael). It is apparently up for discussion as to whether or not they show subtle color differences between m/f. If it were me - I'd consider finding a teeny tiny hawk & research the possibilities of whether 2 males could coexist in my 450 just in case. But again it seems to me that as long as you have a juvenile they'd get together.

Hi Marie, well my tank is 340g but I figure it's big enough. I'll definitely look into getting another flame angel then - it's a beautiful fish. Do you know any other resources on pairing the longnose hawkfish?
