Pairing Golden Butterfly (semilarvatus)

I have a very healthy Golden Butterfly (C. semilarvatus) in my FOWL display. I have an opportunity to purchase another one from my LFS.

From what i've read, in the wild they are found most often as pairs and/or groups, and I've seen aquarium photos with more than just one in a tank. Would this mean they are generally not aggressive to their own kind? Does anyone have experience or an opinion about adding a second specimen to join an already established tank occupant? The second one I am considering is about the same size as the one I already have ... maybe just slightly smaller.

The addition would not overcrowd my tank. Presently I have only four fish in my 125.

They pair very easily and for most hobbyists there is absolutely no aggression at all, however the minimum suggested tank for a Semilarvatus is 100gal and that is providing there are no other fish that share its territory; having two would require a tank of 200+ gallons as a minimum.

eskymick,

Who in Green Bay has semilarvatus? You don't normally see fish like that around here.

Thanks

Jeff can get anything you want, and he often has Red Sea fish in stock ... and you can generally be sure they are quite healthy.
