Well I finally got up the courage to attempt to add a second maroon clownfish to my tank. I have one who has been with me for a little over a year. She had one anemone but as of yesterday she has 3 since they have split for the second time. I bought the smallest fish they had at the pet store and quarantined it for a while. Then I placed it in a breeder container as close to the nem as I could and the clown in the tank didn't even investigate. After 2 days with no interest whatsoever I divided to release the new guy and keep my fingers crossed. Well he went Strait to the nems and didn't even explore the tank. The current clown swam up to him and bumped him a couple of times and he did the quiver submission dance multiple times and they spent the night together and have been together since. She is even letting him in the nem. I'm sure i probably just got lucky but wanted to share my results. I wasn't planning on sharing when I took the video so the audio is pretty bad. https://goo.gl/photos/DE9VSdDhu9MVff3d9
