Pairing of Multibar angel?

Anyone have tried pairing them up before... I am having a 3 inch one in my tank now... And i bought a 4 inch one recently but he is still in the betta box... Still letting the existing resident to get used to it...

I read somewhere that you can differential the sex of the angel by the length of the gill spines... I dunno if it applies to some angels or all angels...

Anyone have a pair so that I can make a comparison... Cos the bigger one seems to have a longer gill spine (I think it naturally longer since it is bigger)...

If they dun work out, most probably will sell it off..

Are you talking about Paracentropyge? If so the only visual differance I saw in the pair I had was color and size. The yellow on the male was much more intense. The male didn't adjust to captivity but the female is still here.

Yes, I am talking about Paracentropyge... Is the male bigger than the female or the other way round?
I just added the new guy in... The existing one is kind of agitated, dashing around the tank... Not much fighting or chasing observed...

The male was bigger. I was lucky to buy mine as a pair. If I see any small available I am hoping to be able to keep a pair again.
