pairing up dottybacks

whats the best way to pair up strawberry dottybacks, i have attempted two times and both times they have fought to the death. Just wondering if I should keep throwing new ones in or if there is another way to go about this. the 2 I put in were smaller than the other should I be putting a bigger one in with the smaller one.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Try to find small ones & put them in your tank at the same time.

Yeah thats a good idea, these fish are some nice looking but they are very aggressive thats for sure.

place a divider with a small hole in the tank. The hole needs to be big enough for the small female to fit throught. But not big enough for the male.
When the female feels secure it can go to the male, but if it get's to violent it can retreat.
