pairing up wrasses

If I get a

Carpenters Flasher Wrasse (Paracheilinus carpenteri)
Small:1.5"- 2.5" and
Carpenter’s Flasher Wrasse(Paracheilinus carpenteri)
Medium: 3”- 4½”

Will the larger be male or turn male?

Or are my chances equal that they will both be male?

the only problem I see is that your size ranges almost overlap. It is likely a 3.5" and 4" fish would compete, whereas you'd be safer with a 4+" and 1.5". Try Marine Center. They hooked me up with a great trio.
