pajama cardinal

Was thinking of picking one up at lfs the other day and decided to wait and ask for opinions on the fish. Is this a good fish?, and can it be kept singly? Does it take flake and pellet or strictly frozen like the banggai"s do? Anyone owning one , I would appreciate if you share your thoughts. Thanks

I had one for a year or so before I took my tank down and LOVED him. He was a model citizen and i kept him alone with a true perc, dwarf angel, six line (before I knew their terror). He was picky at first but eventually came to eat flakes but not pellets for me. I'd recommend them any day!

I've considered these before, too. I seem to have read somewhere that their color fades as they mature, but I can't remember where I saw that.

mine is with me for 2 years, eat everything, model citizen and color has not faded...very good fish to keep....

I have had one for two years now, was actually the first marine fish I bought. Mine eats everything that goes in the tank including nori lol

Thanks for replies. May pick him up tomorrow.
Another question??? C

Can one banggai and one pajama co-exist together? Would like to try that combo. Thanks

Tank is a 90 gallon.

Tank is a 90 gallon.

I have five banggai and three pajama and all get along fine. Pajama's are more shy than banggai.

yeah, I have two bangaiis and a pajama together, in my tank they really don't pay any attention to each other. A friend of mine has 3 pajama's together and they get along great. He has had them for over 2 years. My pajama is definitely more shy than my bangaiis...I've thought of picking up another to see if it brings him out more because the trio my buddy has are very much out and about whenever I'm there.
