Pajama Cardinals

Is there any risk involved with Pajama Cardinals (also called spotted cardinals) being in the same tank as a cleaner shrimp? I have heard different stories on this one and I am hoping someone will have some advice.

2 PJ Cardinals are in QT right now and will be going in once I determine if they are safe or not.

I have two PJ's in my 120G mixed reef...no problems with cleaner shrimp.

I have a pair of PJs in my tank with 1 cleaner and 2 peppermint shrimp. No problems at all between them.

I have 2 PJ's w/ 2 cleaner shrimp and there are no problems. My PJ's don't want to be bothered.

3 PJ's and 2 Cleaners, the PJ's tend to ignor the Cleaners, even when they come over to pick at the PJ, they just slowly swim away...

You shouldn't have any problems at all. Mine have never had any problems and I haven't heard of anyone having problems either. Good luck!

They will be fine, anyways PJ's are rather small fish.

I know that Bangaii cardinal fish love to eat on glass shrimp (ghost shrimp) which may make a peppermint or cleaner look tastly to em, and I have had many losses of shrimps to "unidentified attackers" inmy setup. But as for the PJ's, I couldn't say. If they're well fed and know what their food is, shouldn't be an issue.
