Palcement in a 210G Reef

Quick quesiton on the optimal placement in a standard 210G (6'X24X30). I have 2 MP40 which I run in Lagoon Random, master-slave anti-synch mode. I currently have them placed at each side of the tank, opposite each other. the right side is master and is 9/5" from the rear and 4" below the water. the left side is 14" from the rear of the tank and 4" below the water. It seems to get a nice flow and good surface movement but just wanted to know if there is a "better" suggested water flow pattern by difference placement. This is a new tank but will be a mixed community reef tank with mostly LPS, zoas and softies so I am not as concerned with water flow as in my SPS tank. The aquascaping is mostly two large rock/rubble piles with a center valley and approx 2 to 3" sand bed. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. thanks!

Hi Centropyge-

The way you have your pumps configured is exactly how I recommend they be used. The only thing I would suggest is to try out reefcrest and long pulse mode because you may not see as much flow as you want in lagoon mode.

Thanks Tim... I actually have switched to reef crest and I am getting really nice flow along the top and good draw along the bottom. Have them anti-synch which seems to create good water movement now. Appreciate the response (these pumps rock!)
