Pale Red cap

I have a 65 gallon tall reef tank. I have had a red cap frag for a couple months and it's done well. It's grown and kept good color. The last week or so, I've noticed it gotten kind of pale. Any ideas on this?

How old are your light bulbs also has your alk always been 10? that is a little high

lights are just a few weeks old. (2 x 96 actinics) One 10k metal halide. Alk has been pretty steady. I see normal is supposed to be 7 to 11- correct?

Did you acclimate the coral to the new lights (shorter photoperiod, layers of window screening, etc)? If not, you may be seeing a little bit of light shock.

No I did not. It started to get pale probably 3 weeks after the lights were changed..
