Paly or aptaisia

Can someone please help me with an ID of this coral? Have large clusters in several parts of my tank. Originally grew out of a zoanthia colony but overwhelmed them. Not as blue as picture would suggest, more of a drab mustard or tan.

Any input would be appreciated.

Those look like blue palys. Definitely not aiptasia.

Look up Texas trash palys and see if that looks like what you have. Hard to tell with the blue but from description that would be my guess. If that's what it is, personally, I would pull the rock and trash it. Read up on paly toxin if you opt to try and remove the polyps.

Bingo. Texas Trash... Unfortunately, a couple of clusters are on rocks that I cannot move.

Thats unfortunate, from what I have seen they are pretty invasive and hard to eradicate. I, personally, would rather have aptasia
