Palythoa ID please

Tobago

Hi,

About a month ago I posted the first pic on this board to get an ID (after 3 days with my first reef tank). The last two shots are what they have grown into - the largest (with the green area around the "mouth" is about an inch across. So I know they are Palythoas, but what type and what do they need? Also are they responsible for all the "medusa" that appear now and again or are they really Aipista.

Cheers in advance
Tobago - it doesn't describe me, it just fills my dreams.

Can you post some pics it would help out tremendously.

Here is a pic of Aptasia

Nice button polyps (like the speckles). They are most similar to Protopalythoa psammaphilla (in my limited knowledge of different species-there may be a number of other very similar species). There is talk of the Genus Proto being absorbed into the Palythoa Genus, though (as more research comes in).
