Palytoxin

Couple of questions on this after a store sent me a paly instead of a zoa.
1) can this nuke my tank? (I run carbon)
2) can this go airborne?

There is no problem having them in the tank.. They will not nuke it. It is you that they can "nuke". Use the utmost care when handling them. I am one who was poisoned.

I'm one of the "lucky" ones as well. Be careful because they can easily spread throughout your tank. That's how I ended up like this:

Palytoxin is a multifaceted attacker. It can get you thru the skin, as with Billdogg, squirt you in the eye or you inhale it. I inhaled it. When EMT's arrived all vital signs were in the red.
