Pan World or Blue Line

Are these one in the same or two differant pumps?
I am going to plumb to the basement and want to get a reliable pump.
Also what pipe sizes should I use?
I currently have a 3/4" return and a 1" drain.
I think I should open them up just before the tank?

They are the same pumps.
I'm running the panworld 200ps from my basement on a 1" return. I also use it to feed my calcium reactor. Depending what tank size you have, the 150ps might be enough.

Same pumps... As far as pipe size... As big as you can go;) I run mine with 1.5" and it works great!

Designed by the same Engineer that left Iwaki is what I read last year. PanWorld is overseas made and BlueLine is domestic. It's like Iwaki Japan and Iwaki Walchem domestic. So, basically the same pump.

They are all made at the same place, they just relabel them. Coralife sells them as well.

I wonder why the coralife/turbo sea pumps have such a higher watt per gallon pushed ratio? Plus it looks like they are slightly more than the panworlds. Seems like a no brainer to me, but I'm mildly medicated;)
