Panda Goby?

So, I'm still considering my stocking list and saw a picture of a panda goby. Completely fell in love. I've been searching and there seems to be a real lack of information about them.

Anything that you guys can share would be greatly appreciated. This is for a 65 gallon mixed reef, which currently has no fish in it. =)

They are not an extremely hardy clown goby species to keep. Does well in a large reef but still just a luck fish. I remember hearing that the pandas are known to perch on acros and could damage them? Try www.liveaquaria.com as they stock them normally and should have more info.

They are a very difficult fish to keep. Very few have success more than a few weeks which is why you are having a hard time finding info on them. Some LFS won't even carry them, even though they are readily avialable, becuase of their poor track record.

You might consider a different fish.

The only info I was able to find (liveaquariua and wetwebmedia) simply said they were rarely brought in hence the lack of info. If it's because they're difficult to keep, then I'll just have to stare at pictures occasionally. =)

Tried them 3 times in a small tank with sps. None made it even a month.

they are difficult to keep and they require their host coral for survival. Problem is.... they collect the fish.
leave em in the ocean

I won't be getting one; but which coral is their host coral? Doesn't seem like that should ultimately be insurmountable (I won't be trying, I'm just curious here)
