trying to find out the best food and way to get a new panther gruoper to start eating had it for three days now and still hiding and skidish

Probably depends on the size, but in my experience live food usually works well if you have trouble initially. Maybe ghost shrimp? If it is bigger I would recommend getting some bait shrimp from a bait shop if there is one near you that sells live bait.
