Par 30 or 38 LED sps tanks

I''ll post a few pics up

So far the nanotuners PAR38's do grow sps and do perform well, the only issue i've had is with some of my sps colors but i am working on solving that

I used a mix of cool white, royal blue, cool blue and neutral white on my tank, i'm waiting for some 60 optic All royal blue bulbs and some 40 optic 20k bulbs to influence the sps with some more Blue light in hope this will deepen the tones and make the coral colors more Vibrant

So far i'm happy with what i've accomplished, i still have some tweeking to do on my setup with the led lights but that is going to take some time but i am working on trying to figure out all the LED spectrums needed to keep sps colors correct

I'm happy with how they are turning out so far, i'm completely new to LED's been a big fan of MH and T5's for over 3 years so this is a new learning curve for me, lol

Tank is only a little over 5 months old and has only been run with the PAR38's from the start

it's also my first tank over 30 gallons :) i've got a ton more corals to get to fill in this puppy, haha

For a complete tank LED project I can not see using all Par38, the price is just not right, you can get for more LEDs on a heatsink for less money.

The par38s seem good to fill in areas.
