PAR 38 LED bulbs

Tagging along for pics of v2 of the mount. These PAR38 lamps look interesting, but I didn't particularly care for the track lighting that some were using to mount the lamps. I would personally prefer a more traditional enclosure, but I don't know if that's even possible with the size of the lamps.

evil66, how many of these would you reccomend on a 90 gal tank? I just switched over from 8 t5s to a 2x250 watt mh system. But I'm really thinking about these.

Thanks

Kris

evil66, If run par38 inside canopy, What would be min height ? My canopy is 10" tall, is this possible to installing par38 inside it?

Tank is 24" Height, Mix Reef, SPS will keep in top(not more than 17" deep). Tank length is 72" and width is 18". I would like run as hybrid Mode mixed with 2*60" ovedrived T5HO. If possible, how many par38 bulbs do I need inside 10" height Canopy?
Thanks so much for the help!

SO does the original thread starter have anymore pics of this setup?

I'd still like to see some more visual candy :]]

Evil,

I called and talked to Chris yesterday and just wanted your opinion also. BTW Chris was awesome to deal with and very helpful.

I am going to run a 4x24W ATI Sunpower over my 40 gallon and then run 3 of these PAR38 bulbs. I want a PAR 38 bulb shining on each island of rock that I will have. I really like to the 20K version of these but am afraid of it being too blue with the T5's.

This is my idea on what to use. For T5 I was thinking of running 2 ATI Blue Plus, 1 KZ Fiji Purple and 1 GE 6500K. Then I would run 2 12k and 1 20k of the LED's. I would be using 80 degree optics and have them maybe 8 to 10 inches off the water. It all depends on how I can rig my system up. I know the ATI will probably be roughly 8 inches off the water and then the LED bulbs will go in front.

How does that sound?
