I have a 5 gallon EcoPico set up right now with 5 Ecoxotic LED strips. I believe they're rated at 1 watt per bulb, for a total of 15 watts. I'm noticing a bit of zoanthid stretching and a little bit of color fading. I'm guessing this is due to too little light?
Has anyone used a single Par38 bulb for a pico/nano like this? Any preferred brands or color combinations? Right now I have 6 white and 9 blue, a ratio which I like. Any fixtures that don't look ridiculous? Part of the attraction for the EcoPico is the slim, sleek LED hood. It's a desktop tank, so I want to keep it as low profile as possible.
Thanks for your help!
