Paraguard any good?

I have picked up 6 beautiful bartletts anthias. I put them in QT and 2 days later ICH is on one. hey eat like pigs and I bought a bottle of Paraguard, what are your experiences?

As I recall that's Seachem's "all in one" cure that suppose to be effective against ich, fungus, bacteria, etc . Its prime ingredients are a patented aldehyde as well as some malachite green. In short is the functional equivalent to other products on the market which are composed of formaldehyde and malachite green.

I don't think formaldehyde or malachite green are at the top of the list when it comes to ich treatments. I would stick with either hyposalinity or copper which have a consistent proven track record who's primary downside is that it requires QT (which you have already done).

i used it with no luck lost 1000.00 in large angels

It doesn't seem to be working on my anthias , it's been 3 days of treatment , and i have actually started increasing the dosage. I am going to do a water change and start hypo.
