Paraguard

Anyone use Paraguard when the tank is already in hypo? I have an angel in my QT, which is at 1.010 and would like to use Seachem paraguard prior to using anything harsher like Prazi or Cupramine to maybe loosen or rid the fish of any parasites. It says it can be used for fresh or saltwater. I would have done a freshwater dip when it arrived but it was definitely stressed after shipping. I have read that Paraguard disipates rather quickly, usually within 24 hours. Any experiences would be greatly appreciated.

i used that drug as a dip a few yrs back and the results were not very convincing but then again.......wat dosnt work for me may work for you. i have never had a problem administering copper as a preventitve and currently i have a intermediate/adult chrysurus and moorish idol in my in my 60 gallon qt and they have been fine not to mention that im running copper on this tank 24/7... just a thought
