Parasite control & quarantine

I've been out of the hobby for over 15 yrs & I'm getting ready to start adding things to my new mixed reef tank and am looking for procedures everyone uses for parasite control & quarantining new corals? Never had corals in my systems before since it was 15 yrs ago ...
Any place I can go to read up on recommended procedures ...?

Read up on parasites/hitchhikers, there are tons out there, melv's reef i think has some of the basics to look for. But really knowing is your best prevention, dont buy corals that arent fully open, check the base and underside of the rock, do an Iodine/coral revive dip, make sure you give it a good shake, look for eggs, i think the list is too long for me to type out
