Has anyone ever heard of or had a leather that had parasites inside of it? Mine has these small tube like structures inside of it. they don't move (or appear to move) but they must because eventually i have noticed they protrude and are hard and sharp. you can see them when light is shining through the leather and they are all inside all over. what can i do?

It sounds like you are seeing part of the coral itself. The little white spindle like bits are Sclerites, which help give the coral tissue structure.

As the coral grows and thickens, they will be harder to see except at the base where the coral attaches to the rock.
