parasitic gal crab

yes, I think I have found one of these nasty creatures in or on an elegance coral. the problem is that I don´t know anything about the crab and if this can be a real problem for the cata.

One Spanish aquarist from Barcelona has had a problem with his cata and thinks the crab has eaten the cata from inside because he could see one in the rotten tissue of the catalaphyllia.

Any views?

Gall crabs are generally considered commensals, not parasites, but who knows what they could do in captivity. Cataphyllia has a terrible record in captivity as of late (probably >90% mortality) though and I suspect the presence of the crab has nothing to do with the demise of either coral.
